#1 Put Healthy Food Where You Can See It
How many times have you gone to the grocery store, selected healthy options, and then they rotted away in your fridge? If Probably more times that you can count! Instead of putting all of them away in the crisper, try leaving some out on the counter. Apples, oranges, bananas, avocados, and other fruits will do just great when left out on the counter. Just be sure to separate them, to avoid premature ripening. That way, you’ll have an excellent reminder of the other fruits and veggies in your fridgs, or you’ll have a quick snack to grab and eat on the go!
#2 Be a Weekend Chef
For your main meal, cook a large batch on the weekends when you have more time, and place it in easily accessible containers in correct portions. That way, when you get busier during the week, you won’t be tempted to dine out on fast food – you’ll have a healthy option waiting for you at home! Salads are also a great meal to have when you’re in a hurry. You could even have small containers of healthy dressings premade, so you can grab a handful of romaine lettuce leaves and dip them as you drive or when you’re hard at work!
#3 Prepare Your Gym Clothes
Keep your gym clothes in a convenient place, so you won’t leave them behind on your way to work. Place them in a bag by the door, or lay them out for a morning run. Making it easier to find things will make you more motivated to get into gear in the moment!
